Join us for a fun party in a gorgeous villa on Mallorca. There will be drinks, food, music, a pool, surprises and fun people.
Bring your dance shoes and a change of clothes — just in case.
We suggest getting a hotel or Airbnb in Palma and use a rental car for day trips — there is much more happening in Palma than in Port d’Andratx, and it’s more central for seeing Mallorca. It’s an easy 30-minute drive from Palma to the villa.
This area near the old town would be good to stay in:
If you plan to just come to the party and not see much of Mallorca, you could stay near the villa, for example in Paguera or Camp de Mar — and practice your German there…
For those who noticed the proximity to my birthday: celebrating with you is the best present I could ask for — I truly have everything else I need. However, if you still have the urge to give something, you could help the hospital in Madagascar that took such good care of Alida last year: Help Hôpital Betela build a proper operating room
Here are some tips on what to do when not partying:
Palma is super walkable. Head through the small streets of the old town and explore cafes, restaurants, markets (like Mercado del Olivar), galleries, shops, the cathedral area, and the nice waterfront (all the way to Portixol)
Visit a village, maybe on a market day, or stop at one during a drive through the mountains — Valldemossa, Deïa, Banyalbufar. Parking is not always easy, so pick one where you find a spot.
Mallorca is fantastic for cycling — in the hills or along the ocean. A good rental place is Nano Bicycles. To start, you could go for a chill ride along the Palma bay, or head to Calvia through mountains and return through fields and along beaches.
There are lots of good hikes along the bays or in the mountains Some suggestions: Bellver Castle (easy hike from Palma with view) · St Elm (moderate loop with great water views) · Formentor (moderate hike to secluded bay and amazing summit view)
There are big sandy beaches and many small coves — most have restaurants and chiringuitos. Check for good public parking before you go. My favorite beaches for a swim near Palma are Cala Comtesa, Caleta Portals Nous, and Playa Portals (park here)
